55 competitors from 4 countries
Ondřej Vrábel, 20.3.2006 – About 55 competitors from 4 countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia and Russia) spent this Sunday (19. March) in south bohemian town Třeboň to fight in third international competition Czech Open. Sonkal was represented just by one student – Linda Deutschová, who fought as a part of Czech national team.
There were neither junior nor senior category, only taekwondoists above 16 years with 2.kup or higher were allowed to compete. Under these conditions Czech national team was most numerous, then foreign teams and fewer competitors had other Czech taekwon-do schools. In spite of fact, that less than 60 people competed, duels had really high standard. For example man sparring -64kg final between two Russians was cool.
Linda did really well – she got gold from I.Dan patterns and then also won special techniques with the highest ending points possible (9). And there were one more nice duty for Linda – receiving nice blue cup for the most successful female competitor of Czech Open 2006.
Only two referees from Sonkal came with Linda, that’s the reason why the number of photos is so poor this time. In video gallery> is available 12 movies from this tournament.
