New black belts and Ondra"s "Five"
Martin Svitek, 15.4.2011 – Tests from I. up to VII. Dan took place in Nymburk during evening after International Course. I was somehow allowed to see tests from IV. Dan above that were officially closed.
Let me write few subjective comments. Zdeněk Vavruška was the only adept for IV. Dan and despite of fact that he will be 40 this year (I had to ask him again after test, because it was hard to believe) he did great job (in fact he did great job even for age between 20 and 30). It was great performance and I think good motivation for many people.
Our Ondra Vrábel did test for V. Dan together with Zbyněk Mácha (chief of Won-hyo Třeboň dojang). I have to sincerely say that I enjoyed whole their test, few mistakes were corrected by fact that I trust all their techniques (for me technique is combination of proper movement and big amount of power) does not matter if in patterns, self-defense or power breaking. Once again I was assured that there is no other way to high quality taekwondo than hard training. I am not exaggerating much if I say that I saw Ondra on trainings in Petriny dojang more often than some of Petriny students. During breaks he was telling me how many kilometers he ran that day in nearby park and he dedicated rest of trainings to his individual plan. So I sincerely congratulate to his nice (and successful) V. Dan test and wish him motivation for next many years (maybe till death? ;o) ).
PS: VI. and VII. Dan are too far from me, so I won´t even try to judge these.
Martin Svitek, III. Dan
